Empire Earth Download Patch 1

I have the same problem i can play a few minutes and my PC it restart itself.

PC Athlon 2000 1,25 Gb RAM 250 GB HDD FX 5200 - 128MB Soyo KT400 Ultra.

Empire Earth only works under XP SP2 when the user is logged in as ADMINISTRATOR.

It works well on Windows XP, but I get the blue screen of death after a little while.

I can get it to the menu but when I start game it shuts down but it worked fine on my XP.

It will start loading then nothing happens, it sayd to download patch 1.0.40 or something like that, but even that doesn;t work.

It can be installed, but it is not playable under Vista, I mean ANY Vista version.

It doesnapos;t work at all even if you run it in XP SP 2 mode.

It has vista. the game doesnapos;t start at all and thereapos;s no error message.

I have a HP pavillion which has the necessary hardware to run this game.

Doesnapos;t work after installation even after changing compatibility hints(SP2 amp; administrator).Only result for my efforts of loading is: Runtime Error Program: C:Program FilesSierraEmpire Earth IIEE2.exe abnormal program termination EEIII is a poor relacement for this game.

I am sure that there is a programmer with the ability to do this.

Make a patch sierra this game will NOT work on most vista systems along with many other games because they all, after being installed when trying to run them give the c error thing abnormal program termination and im sure people want to actually be able to go play their game on their computer.

Solution to playing: Empire Earth: On Vista To play it Rhight-click it and Left-click: Run As Administrator, and then wait for a few minutes.

Works just fine, donapos;t have to run as administrator or anything or compatiability mode.

I turn off firewall, and my internet carrier does not block the ports needed for the game, but something with Vista will not let me connect to a friend.

How I loved empire earth, installs fine, menu comes up, click it and then none.

Iapos;ve have empire earth gold edition, on my computer the game and expansion pack appear as seperate programs and when I click on the original game I get a message telling me I have the wrong disk and when i run the expansion I only get the items on the expansion not the full game.

I LOVE empire earth but it dose not work on my vista, it wont even try to start the game, i have the original version that i got years ago and there is nothing wrong with the disc.
